Blaise battles Cancer

In my quest to vanquish any cancer cells left after surgery I'm juicing and eating an alkaline diet. I'm following the plan that is described in the book "Sick and Tired" by Robert Young. There are many variations by different authors and doctors but I think I can follow this, at least so far. So you will be seeing my various attempts at learning about healing vegetables and how to eat them and create interesting raw food dishes. My friend Carrie is helping and is also on the plan to help with her arthritis and weight loss. This is a totally no sugar regimen, so even eating a carrot is considered a treat and shouldn't become too regular an event. It has been quite a drastic shift but the word cancer is a great motivator.
One of the more difficult aspects will be adjusting my sleep patterns, my Naturopath recommends I get to bed by 10, but because of my job she would be happy to see me sleep by midnight. So far I'm getting to bed about half the time by one am. Progress.

My Brother Larry

Here's Larry at a gig playing bass and having fun as usual holding down the groove.

Kevin's Induction

Carrie and I drove down to Tucson tonight to see Kevin inducted to the Tucson Musicians Hall of Fame!! It was at the Mason hall, hence the interesting backdrop.

Blaise plays with her food.

Ok. In our own defense, we just drove back from Tucson, it's late, and we are a little punchy. This video may not be suitable for all audiences.

I meant to say "chlorophyll" and not "chloroform". Big Difference!! I thought about reshooting the video but decided to leave it as is because it is funny with all our flubs.
I promise that I will get better at keeping the camera steady.

Blaise won a guitar!!

Blaise went down to Tucson to see her cousin, Kevin, get inducted into the Tucson Musicians Hall of fame. She took a chance on a raffle ticket and won a guitar! She said it must have been her mother's doing.
